Euro Football Supremo
Congratulations
JASON

The Immortals
The Spanish team featuring a ghost No9 in the shape of Cesc Fabregas ... their full line-up read: Casillas, Arbeloa, Pique, Sergio Ramos, Jordi Alba, Xavi, Busquets, Alonso, Silva, Fabregas, Iniesta.

It was been a fantastic effort by Jason a runner-up in 2006, who has stood tall in his predictions throughout the tournament and seen off gallant challenges from worthy Mates, Luke and Jeremy.

Overall, it has an enjoyable tournament with some quality, and at times passionate, football played throughout the past few weeks. Football4Mates would like to thank all our Mates who participated in this competition, and we hope that it provided an extra element of excitement to games that even citizens of some of the participating nations would not have felt.

Floored from the very outset was our 2004 Euro Supremo, Nico, and 2010 World Supremo, Rayment, who suffered a ding to their reputations, but no doubt both Mates will come back for some retribution. The Reds Butt End Award has gone to A Williams and Rayment, so both Mates destiny awaits at the next Queens Park game where the squad will determine your fine.

Silva's instinctive header darts into the
top corner. 1-0 to Spain (4-0).
If your predictions or overall performance simply did not live up to your expectations, take heart, you have another two years to get yourself back into shape and do this all over again in Brazil 2014 where we hope to see all of you, with the additions of new Mates. So get your Brazilian wax in order as we head to the beaches of Rio, for some wild predictions, grammatical errors, and magnificent football.

For those journalists who described Spain as boring, you can go and stick your heads back in the sand. No doubt you will be back in two years to annoy us again with your docile analysis. Spain, who we (I) thought would tire out, were truly magnificent. and it is a privilege that we are witnesses of this great side. Italy had a great tournament and were unlucky to have found themselves playing with ten men against the best European national team in the past thirty years and one of the greatest in world football.

Thank you for the positive feedback and we look forward to doing it all again.
