Day 20: Luke extends his lead, Brazil go through, and oh yes, so do the Gremans

Brazil progress to the Semi Finals beating Colombia 2-1

Fascinating isn't it? This is a team (Gremany) which has booked its place in the World Cup Semi Final, and this is all the emotion they have to show, incredible, but very predictable. The body language of a team is intriguing to watch, and says plenty about the attitude which a team has about itself, and towards their opponents. On the other hand Brazil also have an air of expectation, and have won the World Cup more times than the Germans, yet every game Brazil win is like they have won the tournament. That's what the World Cup is all about, that is what life is all about. Expectation can only carry you thus far before you get undone, and the Germans record for failing where they 'expect' to win is why they have previously fallen short. I don't buy into the myth of Brazilian football, but football is played by humans after all, and the Brazilians demonstrate one element of the incredible aspects that makes life so beautiful.
