Day 17: English Misery and a NEW leader

Biggest blunder in World Cup History? Frank Lampard's shot bounces into the goal behind Manuel Neuer - disallowed!

“The man of leisure returns” after a one day absence in which we have seen the collapse of the English both on and off the field. In what has been a fairly low scoring couple of days, two good spurts of brilliance from Yoni and Mihail saw both Mates finish Day 16 & 17 with twleve points each. With this success, Yoni has not only erased Rayment’s lead, he has knocked him off the top. Well done to the man from Israel who is seeking to continue the Mediterranean domination of this competition. Rayment slides to second and George K is struggling to hold onto third from Luke and Harry Potter. At the bottom end, it seems like a tussle between Jonovsky and Javier.
