Day 2: A Dream to be in the World Cup?

Whilst even we had a touch of sympathy for England's goalkeeper for his amazing mishap, the same could not be said about the Greeks who in their 2-0 loss to South Korea displayed the most dispirited performance I have seen by any national team at a World Cup. There are teams that get belted, and there are those that are out of their depth but the Greeks were a squad that simply did not want to be there which in itself is astonishing.

It is every footballer's dream to play in a World Cup and that performance yesterday was breathtakingly...disgraceful. Let's hope for their own sake and for the sake of all people of Greek speaking background based around the world, they show some heart in their remaining two matches.
