A "responsible" football4mates"

A more 'responsible' competition

There is no need to hold any longer for we are just about to kick off what's going to be a pretty cool World Cup. However, in keeping up with our 'western democratic institutions' it seems that austerity has sabotaged  football4mates. However, our austerity is time, and we promise you that it's not a figment of our imagination or the work of any prior administration. Time will be limited and therefore football4mates will need to behave "like grown ups" and we expect our participants to be"responsible" for their own tips. Hence if you wish to participate in this World Cup you will need to let football4mates know ASAP through the most logical channels which you have of finding us.

Tournament participation will be triggered by immediate payment of the entry fee. We are sorry that we sound like bastards, but due to the difficulty of our current climate, we cannot be chasing players for fees at the end of the tournament, or getting their tips in on time. There will also be an administration fee for the first time due to the austerity of time involved.

So what does a responsible football4mates mean? Well firstly there will only be a top three award system, which means no welfare prizes for anyone who blows their tips. There will not be any fancy YouTube videos or soundtracks. Times are tough. Nor will there be any daily blogging updates however we will do our best to get the table up for you viewing pleasure and we promise that it will be fare. Will these tough measures last for the next few years? Most certainly not, for we aim to be better participants by week two of the tournament when time will become more freely available.

We realise there was plenty of silence over the past few weeks and many questioned if the completion will carry on, but we promised a tournament and we will give you a tournament. Foot4mates is all for keeping in line with the current status quo and that means looking after our mates too but, unlike the real world, our high costs for entries will guarantee that
ONLY THE BEST WILL WIN. Societies are having many of their rights taken away from them by people that are responsible for preserving them, but at least as irrelevant as football4mates is  to the continued development of civilisation, you can at least, for one month at least, enjoy games in the World Cup that are also irrelevant, such as Honduras v Ecuador.
